I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thank you to all SGIC members and I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead SGIC.
Working with our newly setup committee, my aim is to capture a select pool of stakeholders in the communities to promote, implement and achieve sustainable impacts driven by green technology and to deliver real value to our members, implementing plans for membership growth as well as reimagining the approach to a lifestyle based on a complete system of green living. A lifestyle choice where an individual chooses to be environmentally friendly. A balance between individual lifestyle, culture & communities with the earth’s natural resources, habitats, and biodiversity.
I am confident with the strong support from all members, SGIC will strengthen its role and function to further strengthen the local ESG industry by facilitating its members to be more innovative in the development and commercialisation of new disruptive sustainable technologies. Hence, I call upon members of SGIC to be committed to building and contributing towards a sustainable future in green environment, society and in this ever-changing globalisation of the economy.
I am delighted to share that SGIC will be lining up various activities for the development of the ESG industry, these programs are created to help the members to elevate themselves to the level of excellence in demonstrating leadership by driving ESG through sustainable practices within organisations and positive environmental changes.
I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all members of SGIC for your continuous commitment and strong support from inception thus far, as to give your full efforts to ensure the development of the ESG industry in the country is thriving.
